Senator Andrew Brock was elected to his first term in the North Carolina Senate in the fall of 2002. He is currently serving in his second term, and acts as the Deputy Republican Whip. Senator Brock is a member of the Finance Committee, the Judiciary I Committee, the Senate Rules Committee, Appropriations/Base Budget Committee, the Committee on Mental Health & Youth Services, the Information Technology Committee, Committee on Appropriations on General Government and Information Technology and the Agriculture/Enviroment and Natural Resources Committee.

Pinebrook Elementary School 3rd Graders get a Civics Lesson

Thanks to the efforts of the Honorable Brent Shoaf (Register of Deeds), the entire 3rd grade class of Pinebrook Elementary School participated in a field trip to Mocksville on Friday, February 8th. They visited the County Administrative Building, The NC Cooperative Exchange, and the Court House. They met with Sheriff Andy Stokes, The Honorable Ken Boger (Clerk of Court) and Assistant D.A. Wendy Terry. The children toured EMS buses, spoke with the D.A.R.E. officer, met the K-9 unit, and held a mock trial.
